Trentham Pre-School is a registered charity (1033570 – Charity Commission Website). This means that all money from fees and fundraising is put directly back in to the pre-school to buy new equipment and to provide further training for our practitioners, all to enhance the experience and learning for your children.
Our mission is to provide a safe, exciting environment for every child. We know that as parents and care givers, it can be a daunting prospect to send your child off into the unknown. Because of this we aim to make the process as easy as possible for you and to provide a home away from home where your child can learn and develop key skills before their transition into school.
We use fun, stimulating exercise methods designed to encourage children to develop a curiosity and enjoyment for learning. Our building imitates a school environment, to allow children to grow comfortable and confident in their surroundings.
Our practical learning environment aims to prepare children for their transition into school.
Of our 6 members of our staff 4 are qualified to level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education, our newest member of the team has a BA degree in Early Childhood Studies and our Manager has a BA Hons in Education
We host a range of regular events to encourage childrens’ creativity and to invite parents to join in the fun.
We invite all parents to join our Trustee Committee, to have an input on how the pre-school is run and get involved in your child’s Early Years Education. Subject to available spaces.
